What's happened so far
Jerry Zhang, our CEO, entered China's tech industry in 1995 after earning his Bachelor of Science degree from the Beijing Institute of Technology. He initially worked in a technical role at East Changwei Company. Before founding Shinetech, Jerry served as editor-in-chief of the Chinese publication 'Internet Weekly.' Recognizing the burgeoning demand for software development both globally and within China, he established Shinetech Software Inc. in Beijing.
When Shinetech Software officially entered the European and American software development markets, it marked a pivotal step in our growth. Little did we know, this expansion would unlock the doors to our most significant markets and connect us with many of our key clients.
Four years into providing software development services for clients in North and Latin America, we realized the importance of being closer to our North American clientele. Thus, on January 13th, 2005, we officially established our U.S. company in New York.
Many of our clients expressed a need for Microsoft development services. Recognizing the mutual benefits, Shinetech became an official Microsoft Gold Partner in Software Development. We've maintained this partnership ever since.
In late 2009, Shinetech faced challenges while competing in the software development market. Guided by our CEO and a top-tier team of software experts, we chose to empower our engineers to exceed expectations by offering services beyond traditional software development service mode.
As Shinetech expanded its European clientele, we recognized the need for a more personalized, higher level of service, including on-site development and customer support. This led to our formal entry into the United Kingdom, where we opened our inaugural European office in London. That year, we proudly received our first Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific award.
By 2013, Shinetech had gained a wealth of expertise in software development. However, we recognized the need to connect more deeply with our clients on a cultural level. To address this, we launched a program allowing engineers from various branches to spend several weeks in our American offices. This cultural immersion was designed to broaden their understanding of the local context and improve their interpersonal communication skills.
